Diorama

Desi had her first big school project, Desi did a great job!
She had to make a diorama for a Gorilla and make a poster and a small book. She had great fun collecting stuff around the yard for her diorama. She did all the research herself with books and the Internet. Her poster turned out adorable, and she did it all by herself. Her class had a parent hour where we could come and see there projects and hear the kids give a short presentation on their animal.

Great Job Desi!!!

Devin's new bike

Devin got his first big boy bike! I got to take him to pick it out just me and him, I'm trying to buy me some love. He is defiantly a daddy's boy.
It always shocks me the difference between Devin and my girls. My girls ride their bike all dainty and cute. Devin got on his bike and within minutes had figured out to hit his brakes and skid out on the sidewalk. He also is standing up and making motorcyle noises. Devin is all boy, well except for eariler in the week when he tried on his sisters ballet shoes, just to see.

It's official

Desi's dance company is traveling to Vegas in July to go to Tremaine to do workshops. She will take 3 days of dance classes from some very talented dancers and teachers. There is also a competition following classes each night. This is going to be a busy year for Desi, and for mom and dad working to pay for all of this.

Desi will also be going to Disneyworld in March, to compete in the Contest of Champions dance competition. Desi is thrilled and wishes it was already March. We have told Desi she has to earn the money to go on these adventures. If anyone has any jobs or needs help around the house give Desi a call. Desi also makes a really great mother's helper. She loves kids and loves to read stories and play games with them. Here is a funny story! Desi studio is doing fundraisers and I was talking to her about what to say. Desi said, "Mom I'll just tell them I'm raising money to go to Vegas to Dance." Can you imagine what my neighbors would think!
